The DoneWell Foundation is committed to improve health equity in rural communities by providing comprehensive healthcare education, promoting sustainable nutrition practices, and fostering partnerships with local health organizations. We strive to empower families, reduce preventable diseases, and create long-term, healthy futures for children and their communities through innovative health solutions and community-driven initiatives.

Public health is the science of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities. This work is achieved by promoting healthy lifestyles, researching disease and injury prevention, and detecting, preventing and responding to infectious diseases. Overall, public health is concerned with protecting the health of entire populations. These populations can be as small as a local neighborhood, or as big as an entire country or region of the world.

Our Health Initiatives focus on promoting nutrition and physical activity in schools, leading to a significant reduction in anemia rates among children.
We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our Economic Development initiative helps DoneWell ensure that those we serve are better prepared to persevere in the unique situations they find themselves in.
Community Engagement
Through our Community Engagement programs, we create meaningful connections and empower individuals to lead healthier lives.
Through our Capacity Building program, we have the potential to make real and positive change. This is one of our key areas of focus here at DoneWell, and a source of much success for our Nonprofit Organization.
